Who is responsible

Jakub Niemyski, based in Poland, is responsible for your personal data on uikuba.com. For anything about your data, email hello@uikuba.com.

What I collect

When you send the contact form, I get:

  • your name and email address,
  • what you need, your budget and, if you give it, your timeline,
  • your project details and anything else you write.

When you visit the site, my hosting provider processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and keep it safe.

Why, and on what legal basis

  • To reply to your message and talk about a possible project. This is a step you asked for before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To keep the site working and protect it from spam and abuse. This is my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Sending the form is voluntary. Without your name, email and project details I can’t reply.

Who else handles your data

Service providers that host the site, deliver the contact form and host my inbox. Some of them are based in the US, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

How long I keep it

If your message doesn’t lead to a project, I delete it after 12 months. If we work together, I keep it for the length of the project and afterwards only as long as the law requires or as needed to settle any claims.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, to limit how I use it, or to receive it in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on my legitimate interest. Email hello@uikuba.com and I’ll reply within a month.

If you think I handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

I don’t make automated decisions about you or build a profile of you.

Cookies

The site has no analytics or advertising cookies. It remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. That stays on your device and I never see it.
